Deb Pickman has been a theatre creator, actor and producer for two decades. She is a co-founder and co-artistic director of shameless hussy productions, and has toured in theatre internationally for several companies including her own. A two-time Jessie Richardson nominee, Deb received the Vancouver Sun People’s Choice Award for her performance in the hussies production of My Left Breast. She began her career with over 400 Fringe performances in notorious festival circuit hits. Deb has toured in seven plays with Green Thumb Theatre, including New Canadian Kid which earned the Reuters Award at the Dublin Int. Theatre Festival. Selected credits include her original one woman show Sonofabitch Stew; the drunken life of Calamity Jane, The Vagina Monologues (UBC) and Frozen in 2009 for shameless hussy. Deb earned her BA in Theatre from Theatre at UBC and is the Marketing & Communications Specialist for the UBC Department of Theatre and Film.
